Conrad's Kitchen was set up in 2013 by award winning chef Conrad Fielding and is run from a purpose-built commercial kitchen in Wellington, Somerset.
Conrad is a passionate advocate of flavourful food, cooking everything from scratch, specialising in using local, seasonal and organic produce wherever possible.
Conrad has a love of food from across the globe and loves to experiment with recipes indulging his passion for authentic ingredients and rich complex flavours.
We are lucky to be surrounded by a wealth of small-scale producers to source from, all of whom are passionate about the welfare and provenance of their ingredients, this is central to everything we do.
Conrad has a passion for seafood and fish cookery which stems right back to his early childhood, both of his parents were keen and adventurous cooks, holidays abroad woke his palette and whetted his appetite for octopus, mussels, clams and the flavours of the Mediterranean. Travels further afield woke his love of spice and deep complex middle eastern flavours. Working for several years as a fishmonger honed his skills and confirmed his deep love for all things fish and seafood. Numerous trips to Sweden have allowed Conrad to perfect the art of curing his own Gravad Lax and smoking fish. He has installed a cold smoker in the kitchen and loves to produce his own smoked salmon.
Conrad also loves to cook with Game and locally sourced, high welfare meat. He is not afraid to cook a fully vegan menu either.
Aside from regular farmers markets in Taunton and Wiveliscombe, Conrad's Kitchen caters for parties, events and weddings, as well as offering bespoke private dining experiences.

For events the huge paella pans create quite the wow factor…. paellas are always popular, but the pans can equally be used for other dishes.
We are able to cater for all special dietary requirements and can offer plenty of gluten free, vegetarian or vegan alternatives.

Conrad's Kitchen produce an array of tempting delights, with something for everyone. Most popular are the amazing huge samosas, salmon sausage rolls or spicy venison rolls.
Every week we produce at least three ready meals for you to heat and eat at home, generally there is a meat dish, a fish dish and a vegetarian meal. Most meals are gluten free. We try to be as plastic free as possible, so please bring your own dish for us to fill up, that way you can buy as little or as much as you want. (we do supply pots to go too, so no worries if you forget your own)
Conrad specialises in hearty, deeply flavoured dishes from around the world. The menu changes every week and there is always something interesting, unusual and very tasty.
